Quran: The Laws of Allah (part 2)

“And come not near to the orphan’s property, except to improve it, until he (or she) attains the age of full strength; and give full measure and full weight with justice. We burden not any person, but that which he can bear. And whenever you give your word (i.e. judge between men or give evidence), say the truth even if a near relative is concerned, and fulfil the Covenant of Allâh. This He commands you, that you may remember.”

[Surah Al-An’am (The Cattle) verse 152]

Quran: The Beginning

These were the very first verses of the Quran to be revealed on a night in Ramadhan over 1400 years ago to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

“Recite in the name of your Lord who created. Created man from a clinging substance. Recite, and your Lord is the most Generous”

[Chapter 96: Al-‘Alaq (The Clot) verses 1-3]

Quran: From Stage to Stage

“So I swear by the afterglow of sunset; And by the night and whatever it gathers in its darkness, And by the moon when it is at the full. You shall certainly travel from stage to stage (in this life and in the Hereafter).”

[Chapter 84: Al-Inshiqāq (The Splitting Asunder) verses 16-19]
